8Weltjamboree 1920'000 scouts from 34 countries took part in the first World Jamboree. In the Olympic Hall there were games, competitions and exhibitions. The effect on the public was enormous - the press reported all over the world. The scouts had their big meeting, their Olympics! At this event Baden-Powell became "Chief Scout Of The World". There were inquiries, suggestions and demands. The international office came under pressure - the scouts wanted a new Jamboree.
