In this year the ArGe Scout Association tried to find a new home. (Germany) to break new ground. In cooperation with the Deutscher Pfadfinderbund Hemer and supported by the Bürger- und Heimatverein Hemer e. V. and the VPhA e. V. there was a joint exhibition on the theme of scouts at the Felsenmeermuseum Hemer (Hönnetalstr. 21,58675 Hemer). In addition, the Hemeraner Pathfinders were able to set up a camp in front of the Rocky Sea Museum. All the participating groups hoped that this would be a good opportunity to present the Scout-Philatelie to a larger public on the one hand and on the other hand to present the Scout's work in general and arouse interest in it.

The exhibition consisted of two parts. The philatelic part showed exhibits on a wide range of topics such as "The worldwide spread of scouting","Federal Scouts' Camp and events in Switzerland","The first German Scout stamp","Warsaw Uprising 1944","St. Peter's Day" and "The Warsaw Uprising 1944". Georg","Scout Mail - Boy Scouts as Postmen","Rocket Mail","Boy Scouts and Sports","The Development in Eastern Europe","German Scout Association - Developments, Boy Scouts and the First World War" and much more. Exhibits on the philatelic part of the exhibition, also from the Netherlands and Switzerland. Switzerland. Scout Philatelic Society was also represented with a collection. In the second part, non-philatelic material on scout history, the ArGe Scout literature, current scout work, world jamborees, etc. was shown in showcases. In addition, there were photo walls about the activities of the German Scout Federation.

On Saturday, 24 June 2017, from 9 a. m. onwards, there was also the possibility of exchanging tables in and around the museum's winter garden. At the information desk of the Arge Pfadfinder e. V., interested parties were able to inform themselves about the work of the ArGe Pfadfinder and the collection of Scout postage stamps. Corresponding literature was also available. Simultaneously and on Sunday, June 25th, a scout camp was held in front of the Rocky Sea Museum. The food and drink was also provided here.

The official opening of the exhibition took place on 24 June at 11 am. The exhibition was open on both days from 11 a. m. to 5 p. m., the entrance was free on these two days! A special envelope was placed for the event.
