Since the Rampacher catalogue in 1951 and the Pén catalogue in 1981, no new catalogue for Swiss vignettes has been published. For new collectors this is regrettable. Even the advanced collector needs an up-to-date catalogue.

This ABC catalogue was created according to the design of the Pén model. Some of the data is taken from the Pén catalogue, this printing company no longer exists. Unfortunately, I was not able to contact representatives of the Pén printing company, even some Swiss authorities could not help me. A big thank you goes at least to the Pén printing house at that time.

2023 will be a very special year for the International Scout Centre KISC in the Bernese Oberland. Exactly 100 years ago, this meeting place for Scouts from all over the world was founded, and this will soon be celebrated in a big way! It all began in 1920 at the first World Scout Jamboree in London. Scout founder Robert Baden-Powell,BiPi, was so moved by the successful experiment after the camp that he gave an emotional speech on the last day. BiPi spoke about the international Scout community and about the instructive exchange during the camp. One of the listeners was particularly enthusiastic about BiPi's idea of a jamboree that is accessible all year round - it was the Swiss Walther von Bonstetten.

The German scouts invite you to the international collectors' meeting at the scout castle Rieneck from June 2nd to 4th, 2023.

The Walter Grob Award 2018 (Pioneer of Scout Philately) was presented to Benito Gonzalez.

The meeting of IFSCO (International Federation of Scout and Guide Stamp Collecting Organizations) delegates took place on the occasion of the 12th EuroScout on Saturday, 5 May 2018 in Évora, (Portugal).

A hundred years ago, the First World War broke out, which had brought hardship and misery to Europe and the theatres of war in the Middle East, Africa and East Asia over a period of four years, causing 17 million deaths.

The exhibition was opened by the Mayor Corine Mauch and the President of the Association Dr. Helmut Meyer, followed by a brief presentation by the Zoo Director Dr. Alex Rübel and the curators Marion Elmer, Pascal Pauli and Magdalena Rühl. The exhibition was organized on the occasion of the anniversary by the association Pfadiausstellung Zürich in cooperation with the Department of Culture.
