That's why the inforkation on the Web-Site about our society is German an French, except EuroScout'2008 with a further translation in English. Catalogues
The SPPhV offers - trough our partner-organizations - various Boy an Girl Scout related philatelic catalogues (loose leaf editions with supplements every year). The scope of these catalogues is that of a detailed world-wide listing of stamps, postal stationary, special cancellations and meter marks. We offer these catalogues at cost price, also to non-members.
Meetings
Once a year at a weekend we organize a meeting for our members. A personal get together in oder to exchange views an know-how, a source of information and the possibility to swap.
Buy / sell circulation service
Our members can participate at the buy and sell circulation service, either as deliverer of boy and girl scout related philatelic material or as a buyer.
Mail auctions
Club mail auctions take place three or four times a year. Every club member is authorized to take part.
New issue service
Members can have a subscription for new issue of boy and girl scout related postage stamps, special cancellations and meter marks.
Advisory Service
We give advice in all possible technical questions or help with relevant VSPhV/expert-addresses, fight against forgery, protection of the collectors interests, abusive new issues, exhibitions, youth philately, fiscal questions, realization of philatelic estates.
Exhibit the collection
We gladly give advice and help when you want to exhibit your philatelic/thematic collection.
Youth services
The SPPhV (Federation of Swiss Philatelic Societies) encourages the member societies to promote youth philateliy with the purpose to ensure the continued existance of our common hobby. The young philatelists can take part at all SPPhV-meetings and events.
Library
Specialist literature and catalogues with supplements are at our members disposal (postage to the debit of the member's account).
Miscellaneous
The membership enables you to get the (subscription to) Swiss Philatelic Journal at a reduced price.
