1957 - 9th World Jamboree - Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, Great Britain
That was the "Jubilee Jamboree" in honour of the 50th anniversary of the scout movement and the 100th anniversary of the birth of Baden-Powell, there was a giant event: Over 30'000 scouts from 80 countries came to the 9th World Jamboree, which took place together with an international leader camp (INDABA) with 17'000 participants and the World-Rovermoot in the Sutton Park near Birmingham. One night a rain storm transformed the beautiful Jamboree into a river and lake landscape.
