1975 - 14th World Jamboree - Lake Mjosa, Lillehammer, Norway

At Lake Mjosa near Lillehammer in Norway, 17'259 Scouts from 91 nations met for the 14th World Jamboree in 1975. The British contingent was led by Robert Baden-Powell 3rd Baron Baden-Powell. The five Nordic countries - Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland offered a model of programme imagination and hospitality under the motto "Five Fingers - One Hand".
